    Operations Manager (Part-time)

    Aon are currently recruiting a Business Manager to join our team in London. The Business Manager will be primarily responsible for;

     

    Supporting the management of the Solutions Delivery team, with specific focus on process improvement projects and tasks. The Solutions Delivery team comprises the technical consulting practices within the Cyber Solutions business in EMEA, who work with clients to prevent and resolve complicated technology issues. As the lead support to this team, the Business Manager will be responsible for the management of process improvement projects, implementation of policies and procedures, administration of systems and software, and general administrative support.

     

    Please note this role is 24 hours a week, based in the City of London, for a period of 12 months. There will be flexibility on how the 24 hours are spread over the week.

    About the Role

     

    As a Business Manager some of your key responsibilities will involve;

     

     Project and Process Support:      

    • Project management and implementation: planning and managing the project in addition to completing key tasks such as data analysis, process and workflow development, creating documentation, etc.
    • Liaise with the global Solutions Delivery Support team to ensure global collaboration and alignment of process for ongoing project work and new initiatives
    • Oversee all Solutions Delivery Support job functions in order to provide supervision, and cover when other colleagues are out
    • Chair Solutions Delivery Leadership meetings, compile and circulate agenda and minutes
    • Generate weekly utilisation metrics for Solutions Delivery Leadership
    • Liaise with Solutions Delivery leadership to define any support gaps or process improvement requirements, and work with internal teams to provide and implement solutions
    • Document and maintain processes for department-specific tasks

     

    Administrative Support:

    • Main point of contact for Solutions Delivery requests
    • Manage team scheduling and staffing requests
    • Track software licensing and liaise with procurement team to maintain and update licenses
    • Routine reporting, dissemination and escalation
    • Support compliance with policies, including ensuring that time entry and billing deadlines are met by consultants
    • Perform and monitor/supervise data entry activities across various systems and databases

     

    Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

     

    About you

     

    As a Business Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include;

     

    • Extensive experience in an Operations or Project Management role
    • Fully proficient in Microsoft office packages
    • Advanced Excel skills including data manipulation, and analysis
    • Confident working with databases and data workflows
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including managing workload and communication
    • Flexible and proactive attitude
    • Attention to detail, and meticulous attitude towards data entry
    • High level of accuracy in data entry
    • Capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment
